Not much happened this week other than I am trying to fight off a nasty cough that I everyone gets while staying at my particular base. The doctor says there is not much I can do about it but they gave me meds to help with the cough. They say that this can last up to a month and you just have to let it run its course.
It is supposed to get into the mid 90s this week and it probably won’t cool down until November, but at least it’s a dry heat! I can't wait til it gets to 130 degrees!
Several Ag organizations have sprouted up in the province, one of the more progressive ones is the Diyala Beekeepers. Check out their website, it is in English and Arabic.

Hi Ryan,
Just wanted to write a short note to see if this works. Hannah is home sick today, so I didn't get to go out for breakfast, but I have taken a nap. Love your blog. Enjoy your weather. I would take a dry heat to this Nebraska cold any day. Would your lovely home want a dog, Bailey keeps sending messages that she wants to live in Iraq. She loves to eat sand:):):)
God Bless.

Hey, bother-in-law just saw your blog for the first time kind of cool. Love your house only thing that would make it better is if you broke out the window and tapped cardboard over it !! Bet it would be tough to bring a chick home when you live in that thing, or atleast one you don't have to pay for!!! Take care
Brad
