HOT Diyala Chicks!

Yes, this is still a G-rated blog. The poultry co-op received its order of 5,500 chicks last week and so far so good. These chicks will be raised to lay eggs. The chicks will start to lay eggs in about 19 weeks. Most of the eggs will be sold in Baghdad. This is, hopefully, the first step for a very successful Co-op.

In this picture, I am literally picking up chicks, the guy next to me is my “wing man”!

Thanks to MC1 Mario Quiroga for this great picture

Brew, nice blog. I think you might have a little to much time on your hands!

Hope everything is well.

Hi Ryan, I see you are having 'dates' over there. Then all those 'chicks' to pick from. How lucky can one man get!! Sounds like you are having a great time. Hope it is not as hot today for you. I picked sweet corn yesterday and froze 18 quart bags. Will go out and pick some again this morning. We had about 3 tenths of an inch of rain last night. I do not remember such a nice summer for Nebraska, the pastures are still green.
God bless you, June Sherrett

you know with that fuzz you got on your face I almost thought that guy in the picture with you might just be your real dad !!! You might have to come home so I can show you how a real man grows facial hair, or you could just ask your dad that is pictured with you!!
Take care
