A few weeks ago I said the dust storms here were interesting, let me re-phrase that: The dust storms here suck! The stuff covers everything. It gets in your nose your eyes and your lungs. Your eyelashes and hair (if I had any) looks as if they have turned blond at the tips.Check out this picture, it has not been altered in any way. That is really the color of the air.

Hello Ryan, I guess I thought Iraq would be mostly dry and dusty like your picture. How do you breath? Everyone must have sinus problems!!
I am surprised to see such pretty green date groves with all that dry dusty stuff you mentioned. The groves must be covered with the dust too.

Well it kind of looks like you are in hell. But I have to say that if you are going to complain about something and then show us a picture of you with a giant smile on your face, you are going about this all wrong !! If you want symphany atleast look depressed. I almost felt bad for you (only for a second) then I clicked on the picture and saw that smile, it reminded me that you must have been thinking about all the PEARLS you have collected in the last few weeks when that was taken !!
