I saw lots of water buffalo this week. They are raised for their milk, which is turned into yogurt and Gamer (a sweet cream cheese that is eaten with breakfast). There are about 150,000 water buffalo in Iraq.
A journal of my year working with the farmers of Iraq.

Holy how the heck do you milk a water buffalo Mr. ag advisor? Maybe next time we could get some demo photos, like you with a 3 legged stool and a bucket sqeezing a tit with a towel on your head, that would be funny. And after you master the buffalo milking you can come home and show us all how to milk my Goat. Oh and I named the goat GOAT. when i go get it out of the barn I yell "hey goat" and it comes running so i just figured GOAT was a fitting name. When you come home we will have to drink a lot and make the goat faint it will a lot of fun.

ryan,
i am sure you wanted to know that your mother started the day out at 5:30 am with plastic poop on the mats at make it fit. that glaydis fritz carefully picked up with some tissues. and at 8:30 she was hiding in a flower box at the green house. i have not heard if judy is still with us or not. penny was so glad that your mom had track meet today and would not be at work-but alas it snowed and track me was canceled. but brylie was sick so she had to watch her the rest of the day. i have not seen your dad so do not know how he faired. we are all thankful that her favorite holiday comes but once a year.
enjoyed your cows and have you tasted the gamer yet.
and brad is going to have to increase his herd to keep up with your.

Do these buffalo have any similarity to a cak? Please tell me they do! Quite possibly my favorite animal.

Hi Ryan,
I did not know that a water buffalo was so big. They must be very docile if that kid can sit on top of them like that. They look to me like I would want to stay far away from them. Sure do enjoy the stories that your Mom has to tell about the conversations with you. It was cold here this morning about 20 degrees. So 100 seems a little high. This old fat woman and her hubby climbed the Twin Buttes on Saturday cause it was such a nice day. Then Sunday it was cold with the windchill at 17 degrees again!
Praying for you,
June Sherrett
